An anarchy devoted to cycling...

Sheridan Road is now open for both north and south-bound traffic throughout Wilmette, and the engineering staff of the Village has assured me that it will remain open to two-way traffic through the end of construction. Reconstruction has ALSO started on Isabella Street, and the west-bound lane is closed. Because of these two changes, the Judson ride will start at the "old" location of Greenleaf and Judson in Evanston.

Please be aware that Sheridan is still in sub-par shape (man-hole covers are raised, for example), and the section between Lake Avenue and Plaza del Lago is especially narrow. The group needs to ride that section in an orderly and cautious manner. As always, once north of the Plaza, the ride can certainly resume its normal behavior.

The ride leaves at the Summer ride time of 7:30am.

"Anyone taken as an individual, is tolerably sensible and reasonable --
as a member of a crowd, he at once becomes a blockhead."

Friedrich von Schiller
